Episode 24 – Pat Stone shares her story about coming out at the age of 53 in 1996 being married for thirty-five years. Pat was the Dallas PFLAG Chapter President at the time which provided her the skills to start a support group called Late Bloomers that she has been running for ten years.

Pat Stone, Founder of Late Bloomers
Pat’s new book “Awakening: How a 53 Year Old Wife and Mother “became” a Lesbian” (Amazon Books) was published in March 2009. It is a must read for women who are coming out later in life. It is also a great read for men coming out later in life too as well as straight spouses who are dealing with the news that their spouse is LGBT.
